ReferenceAssemblies..::..AddByName Method

This method receives the Name of an Assembly and adds the Assembly to Reference lists if that assembly can be found.

Parameters

asmName
Type: String
The Name of the intended Assembly (e.g. System.Windows.Forms)
searchInAppDir
Type: Boolean
If the value is set true, all assemblies present in the execution path of the current process will be checked.
searchInGac
Type: Boolean
If the value is set true, all assemblies present in the GAC of the system will be checked.
searchInDirsList
Type: List<(Of <(<'String>)>)>
Is a string list containing search Paths for finding the intended Assembly.
searchSubDirs
Type: Boolean
If the value is set true, all assemblies present in Sub Directories will be checked.
errorIfNotFound
Type: Boolean
If the value is set true, an Exception will be generated if the intended Assembly cannot be found.
